Poderi Gallina is one of the oldest vineyards in the Langhe region. Francone decided to produce a wine range to reflect this history; The "Antichi Poderi dei Gallina‰ range. The unique character, taste and aroma of these wines come from a culmination of important factors which include; the land, the weather, the vineyards and the company‚s experienced production techniques. The vineyards are situated on steep hills which enjoy sunlight throughout the day. The hard manual labour involved is rewarded by the production of a wine to be proud of. Traditional techniques and the use of the oldest Nebbiolo vines mix with new research in order to provide a balance which is in perfect harmony with the land.
