The
Francone family boasts five generations of wine making experience. The
tradition began with Adriano in 1867.
He
was succeeded by Alberto and Giovanni Battista who expanded the company‚s
market beyond Piedmont into the rest of Europe. Giovanni Founded the
current company in Neive in 1964.
Today
the family tradition is continued by Mauro Francone and his two sons,
Marco and Fabrizio. They continue to participate in all stages of wine
production.
The
company‚s "I PATRIARCHI"range is dedicated to all those
who have contributed to the company‚s rich and successful history.
The
"I PATRIARCHI" range contains four wines: Barbaresco, Barbera
d‚Alba Superior, Nebbiolo and Chardonnay.
The
wines are made from carefully selected grapes which are then stored
in oak barrels.
Only
the most successful seasons are bottled.
