Winemaking vocation
We were born and raised in the Langhe, in Neive, a place that has always been known locally as the "village of four wines" for its incredible ability to produce great results from diverse grape varieties, thanks to its rich terroir and favorable microclimate.
Neive, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, is located a few kilometers from Alba and in the heart of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Such a generous land deserves respect and awareness: living up to its terroir is our daily challenge. We create wines that combine elegance and pleasure, capable of expressing the soul and labour of those who live among the vineyards.

Gallina, the family Cru
The Gallina vineyard is the heart of our production. It produces wines with an unmistakable character, capable of great depth and extreme elegance, thanks to the alchemy created by the limestone soil, southern exposure, and ideal microclimate. It is the most renowned in the entire Neive district: included in Renato Ratti's Barbaresco Wine List, it was among the first crus to be mentioned on local producers' labels.
One of the most fascinating terroirs in Piedmont

We grow numerous grape varieties on this hill. In the sunniest area, we grow Nebbiolo for Barbaresco, and in the cooler area, we grow white grapes: Arneis, Chardonnay, Moscato, and Nascetta.
Gallina is a warm and full-bodied Barbaresco, characterized by velvety tannins and bold structure. On the palate, it is delicate yet complex, and its finish is remarkably persistent.
The other vineyards from which our wines are born: Tetti di Neive, Fausoni, Starderi and Albesani
In addition to the Gallina vineyard in Neive, the heart of our production, there are other vineyards that provide splendid grapes for our wines. The older vines, some over 40 years old, allow us to produce extremely complex and long-lived wines.
The great reds of the Langhe in a single winery: we have been producing Barolo since 1958

With the aim of celebrating the land we inhabit, we vinified our first Barolo in 1958, alongside our Barbaresco. Today, grapes from Monforte and Barolo vineyards are added to the historic La Morra vineyard, combining the warm power of La Morra with the freshness of Barolo and the austere tannins of Monforte.
