Hand-picked around 10th-15th October. Fermentation with traditional maceration for about 12 days. Aged for 30 months in French oak barrels.

Drinking age

It reaches maturity between 5 and 10 years after harvest.

18-20 °C

Tagliatelle with meat or liver ragù, risotto or gnocchi with Castelmagno or Fontina cheese, braised meats, roasts, game, mature cheeses.

Barbaresco DOCG I Patriarchi is made from a blend of grapes from the best vineyards in the municipality of Neive. Elegant and full-bodied, it offers a balanced bouquet of spices and ripe red fruits. Body, fruit and pleasant tannins blend together in perfect harmony on the palate.
